Stars are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed. If the balance has not moved, force-close the app and reopen it — the receipt is checked again on launch. Still missing? Email us with the receipt from Apple or Google and we will put the Stars on your balance.

Open the Stars screen and tap Restore purchases. Star packs are consumable — they are granted once at purchase and cannot be restored — so restoring applies to a Premium subscription. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account or Google account you bought it with.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so they are cancelled there rather than inside Nexlyn.

iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nexlyn → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Nexlyn → Cancel.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or the next period is charged. Premium stays active until the period you already paid for runs out.

Stars are the in-app currency. A message costs 1 Star, a voice call 20 Stars per minute, and hiring a new colleague 150 Stars.

You get a welcome bonus on your first day, more from the daily check-in, and more again from rewarded videos — both live in the More tab. You can also buy a Star pack, or take Premium for monthly Stars plus an ad-free app. Premium members still spend Stars normally: the subscription tops you up and removes ads, it does not make anything free.

Long-press the message and choose Report message, or use Report content in the More tab. Reports go straight to our moderation queue and we use them to tune what the characters are allowed to say. Replies are AI-generated, so they can occasionally be wrong or unwanted — please do report them.

No. Every colleague, portrait, conversation and company in Nexlyn is fictional and AI-generated. There are no other users in the app, nobody can contact you through it, and it is not connected to your employer, email, calendar or real colleagues. Nexlyn is entertainment, not a workplace tool, and is not affiliated with Microsoft Teams or any real company.

Open Privacy choices in the More tab to reopen the consent form. On iPhone you can also change tracking permission under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Nexlyn has no account and no sign-in. Your profile, colleagues, chats, photos and Stars all live on your device, so deleting the app deletes your data — there is nothing on our side to erase, and reinstalling starts a brand-new company. Messages are sent to our server only to generate a reply and are not stored against any user. The privacy policy has the full detail.

This was a bug in an early build: a hired colleague's photo was saved with a file path that stopped resolving after an app update, so the colleague fell back to a stock portrait. It is fixed — update to the latest version. If a photo has already been lost, open that colleague's profile and set the picture again.

Colleagues send direct messages and mentions through the day. If they stop arriving, check that notifications are allowed for Nexlyn in your system settings, and that battery optimisation is not suspending the app in the background — on Android that is usually under Battery → Unrestricted.
