Privacy Policy — Nexlyn: AI Coworkers

At Nexlyn ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Caitty, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application Nexlyn: AI Coworkers (package: caitty.com.aicompany).

1. Information We Collect

No User Account Required: Nexlyn does not require an account or login. You can launch and use the app without providing your email, phone number, or real identity.
Chat & Interaction Data: Your conversations with AI coworkers, chosen role, reputation score, channel messages, and custom coworker definitions are saved locally on your device. Outgoing messages are sent via HTTPS to our backend chat service (aicompanyapi.caitty.com) strictly to process and generate AI coworker responses. We do not permanently store or retain your chat content on our servers.
Profile Photo & Avatar: Optional profile images selected or uploaded during onboarding stay locally on your device and are not uploaded to external servers.
Audio & Voice Call Data: When you initiate a 1:1 voice call with an AI coworker, your voice input is processed strictly to transcribe and generate real-time AI responses. Microphone data is processed on the fly and is not recorded or stored.
Advertising & Identifiers: We integrate Google AdMob for rewarded video and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android) and ad performance data for advertising and analytics purposes.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: Purchasing Stars or Premium subscriptions is handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive transaction verification receipts but never see or store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate the Nexlyn office simulation and generate reactive responses from AI coworkers.
To maintain your in-app role, department, reputation, and office state locally on your device.
To process digital purchases and deliver Premium benefits or Star balances.
To serve rewarded video ads and interstitial ads through Google AdMob.
To improve app stability, diagnose bugs, and enhance performance.

3. Data Storage & Security

All communication between the app and server endpoints uses encrypted HTTPS connection protocols. Your local app data (chats, custom colleagues, career progress) remains stored in secure local app storage on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

Nexlyn relies on trusted third-party providers for advertising, platform services, and AI generation:

Apple App Store / Google Play: Process payment transactions and subscription management under their respective privacy policies.
AI Language Model APIs: Outgoing chat messages are processed by AI models solely to generate in-game colleague responses.

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS devices, Nexlyn prompts for App Tracking Transparency permission on first launch before initializing ads. You can grant or revoke tracking permission at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device.

6. Moderation & Objectionable Content

Nexlyn is designed for entertainment roleplay. To maintain a safe experience, every message features an in-app report control (long-press any message → Report). Reported messages are reviewed in our moderation queue to ensure safety standards.

7. Children's Privacy

Nexlyn is rated Teen / 12+ and is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights & Data Control

Because Nexlyn does not require user accounts and stores data locally, you can clear all stored messages, custom coworkers, and app progress at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing local app data in your device settings.
