Is Nexlyn a productivity tool?
Nexlyn is an entertainment and roleplay experience built around a fictional company. It feels like a workplace, but it is not connected to your employer, email, calendar, or real coworkers.
Are the coworkers real people?
No. The names, portraits, roles, personalities, conversations, and organization are fictional. Replies are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected.
Does my role change the experience?
Yes. Your role affects your title, starting level, manager, direct reports, group context, career progression, and how the cast responds to your authority.
Can I make my own coworker?
Yes. You can create a custom colleague with a name, title, department, personality, reporting relationship, and optional photo. Stars can be earned in the app or purchased.
Is Nexlyn free?
Yes. Nexlyn is free to download on iPhone and Android. Stars are earned through a daily check-in and rewarded videos, and optional in-app purchases or a Premium subscription add more Stars and remove ads.
Can I use my own profile photo?
Yes. Adding a photo during onboarding is optional, and you can update it later from your profile. You can also set your title, status message, and availability.
Which appearance options are available?
Nexlyn supports light mode, dark mode, and a system setting that follows your phone automatically. The system option is the default.
