Travely is an AI travel role-playing app published by Caitty. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: there is no account, we never ask for your location, and your trip lives on your phone.

Travely never requests location access. Checking in stamps the place you are pretending to be, not where your device actually is. The app has no location permission at all, so there is no real-world position for it to record.

1. No Account, No Sign-Up

Travely does not have accounts. There is no registration, no email address, no password and no social login. We do not know who you are, and nothing you do in the app is linked to a personal identity by us.

2. Information We Process

The app only sends data to our servers when it needs a reply, a voice clip or a live call. In those cases the following is transmitted:

Conversation text. The recent messages in the current conversation, plus the name of the place you are pretending to be and a short factual note about it, so the companion's reply is grounded in that setting. It is used to generate the reply and is not stored on our servers afterwards.
Text for voice replies. The text of a reply you asked to hear, sent to a text-to-speech service. The resulting audio clip may be cached so replaying it does not cost you stars again.
Live call audio. While a call is open, short segments of microphone audio are transcribed to text, answered, and spoken back. Audio is processed for the duration of the call and is not retained.
Purchase receipts. Handled entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase is valid; we never see your payment details.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos library, health data, or advertising identifiers for tracking.

3. What Stays on Your Device

The following never leaves your phone unless you deliberately share it yourself:

Your conversation history with every companion.
Your passport map, check-in stamps and travel memories.
Your star balance and spending history.
Which destinations and companions you have unlocked.
The display name and profile photo you optionally set. A photo you pick is copied into the app's private storage and is never uploaded.

All 316 destination and companion photographs ship inside the app itself. Nothing about your trip is uploaded to build a profile of you, and there is no server-side copy of your account, because there is no account.

4. Deleting Everything

Open the profile sheet behind your companion's avatar, then Settings → Start a new trip. That erases your chats, stamps, stars, unlocked content and profile from the device immediately and permanently. Deleting the app removes everything as well. Since we hold no account data, there is nothing left for us to delete on our side.

5. Third-Party Services

Travely relies on a small number of providers to function:

Apple (App Store, StoreKit). Handles all purchases and subscriptions under Apple's own privacy policy.
Cloudflare. Hosts the service that generates replies, speech and live calls.
AI model and speech providers. Process conversation text and speech to produce companion replies and voices. They act on our instructions and do not receive an identifier for you.
Google AdMob. Only if you deliberately tap a "watch a video for stars" button. Travely shows no banner ads, no interstitials and no ads that appear on their own. Rewarded video is opt-in, one tap at a time, and the feature can be switched off entirely from our server.

6. Consent and Tracking

Travely does not use the App Tracking Transparency identifier to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Where local law requires it — for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK — you will be shown a consent form before any personalised advertising is possible, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the app's settings.

7. Children

Travely is intended for adults and is rated accordingly on the App Store. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly process data from them. If you believe a child has used the app, deleting it removes all associated data from the device.

8. Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Because Travely holds no account and keeps your trip on your device, the amount of data that could be exposed by a server-side incident is deliberately kept close to nothing. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase personal data held about you. In Travely's case those rights are largely satisfied by the app's design: we hold no account, and the reset described in section 4 erases everything on your device. If you have a request or a question, contact us and we will respond.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app.
