The Mix tab holds 46 single sounds in six groups: rain and thunder, nature, city and travel, at home, tones and noise. Tap to layer up to six, balance them in the mixer, and save the result.
Each layer has a slider. Name a mix you like and it appears at the top of the Mix tab, ready for tomorrow night.
The player's centre dial shows the countdown; one tap sets 15 to 90 minutes, or pick any length. Sound fades out over the final 30 seconds.

Are the sounds real recordings?
Yes. Every soundscape and mixer sound is cut from a real field recording, then looped seamlessly and loudness-matched. Nothing is synthesized or AI-generated.
Does Serein work offline?
Yes. All sounds are bundled with the app, so playback never needs a connection. No account or microphone access is required.
What does Serein Plus include?
Plus removes all advertising and unlocks the Plus mixer sounds. Every soundscape, the mixer and the sleep timer are free; a short rewarded ad can also unlock a Plus sound for 24 hours or pause ads for an hour.
How does the sleep timer work?
Tap a preset of 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, or set anything from 1 to 720 minutes. Sound fades out over the last 30 seconds and the timer pauses whenever playback is paused.
Can I layer sounds together?
Yes. The Mix tab lets you stack up to six sounds, including the soundscape you are already playing, balance each one in the mixer and save the result as a named mix.
