1. The service

Lucent offers a live camera background, display effects, folders, search and one-tap photo capture. On Android it can display installed apps and act as your home launcher. On iOS it provides a shortcut space inside Lucent, using supported links and shortcuts you create; it does not replace the system Home Screen or list all installed apps. Tapping Take photo saves one camera image to your system photo library. Lucent does not upload camera images; your own system photo backup settings may sync saved images.

2. Free features, ads and Premium

• The core app is free. On Android, some display modes, looks and auto-organize are Premium features. All initial iOS camera, shortcut and display features are available without a purchase.
• On Android, users may watch an optional rewarded advertisement to use a Premium feature for 24 hours, and ads may appear in the grid or after search. On iOS, an optional completed rewarded video provides 24 hours without native or interstitial ads; native ads may appear in Settings and interstitials after leaving Settings. Rewards are stored on-device, are not transferable and have no cash value. If an ad is unavailable or not completed, no reward is granted. Ads are provided by Google Mobile Ads.
• Android Premium is available as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, processed by Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in Google Play. Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the app in any way that breaks the law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the app or the services it depends on. Respect the privacy of people around you when using the camera or taking a photo. You are responsible for shortcut destinations and any actions performed by an Apple Shortcut you choose to run.

4. Intellectual property

Lucent, its design, code and artwork are owned by Caitty. App icons and names shown inside Lucent belong to their respective owners. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your supported Android or iOS device.

5. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Camera preview increases battery use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caitty is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms or the app from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
