Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

AI Reply is rated 17+ on the App Store. You must be at least 17 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. The Service

AI Reply is a utility that generates suggested chat replies using a large language model (currently Google Gemini). You provide a short snippet (typically the message you received or a draft), pick a reply style, and the Service returns up to three candidate replies that you may send, edit, or discard.

Suggestions are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, awkward, or contextually wrong. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion before sending it. Do not rely on AI Reply for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical communication.

3. Your account and content

• AI Reply does not require you to create an account.
• You retain ownership of any text you submit to the Service ("Input") and any suggestion you send ("Output"). By submitting Input, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process that Input solely to generate Output and operate the Service.
• You must have the legal right to submit the text you paste into AI Reply. Do not use the Service to process data you are not authorized to share (for example, confidential material belonging to someone else).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AI Reply to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive another person.
• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence or hate.
• Produce spam, fraud, phishing, or misleading commercial communication.
• Attempt to probe, scan, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its backend.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls, including by reselling generated replies as your own product.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access to any user who violates this section. We may refuse to generate replies for Input that our automated filters flag as unsafe.

5. Free tier and rewarded ads

New users receive a daily allowance of free reply generations. You may earn additional bonus credits by watching rewarded advertisements inside the app. Free credits reset daily and do not carry over beyond the limits described inside the app.

6. Subscriptions

AI Reply offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, and yearly). Key terms:

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID at the prices shown in the App Store. Prices include any applicable taxes where required.
• Auto-renew. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancellation. You can cancel any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds for the remaining period.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple. See https://support.apple.com/HT204084.
• Price changes. If we change subscription prices, Apple will request your consent to the new price before your next renewal, per App Store policy.
• EULA. Your use of the in-app purchase is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, unless we've provided a custom EULA: Apple Standard EULA.

7. Advertising

Free users see advertisements inside the app. Ads are served by Google AdMob. We do not show ads inside the keyboard extension itself. See our Privacy Policy for what data is shared with ad partners.

8. Availability and changes

We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including free tier limits, subscription tiers, or supported features. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via the app or website.

9. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties including Apple (App Store, StoreKit), Google (Gemini API, AdMob), and our cloud provider. Their terms apply in addition to ours where relevant. We are not responsible for actions or failures of these third parties beyond our reasonable control.

10. Intellectual property

The AI Reply app, branding, user interface, and associated assets are owned by Caitty and protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated Output will be accurate, appropriate, or free of bias.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caitty and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Caitty harmless from any claim or demand arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disabling the keyboard or uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., liability, indemnification) will survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Caitty operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
