What is Sona?

Sona is an entertainment app for adults where you chat, exchange voice messages, and take live voice calls with fictional, AI-generated characters. Every character is computer-generated and is not a real person; the app does not provide human matchmaking or real dating services.

How do Stars work?

Stars are the in-app currency used for actions such as sending messages, voice replies, and live calls. You can earn Stars for free by watching optional rewarded ads, or buy Star packs in the app. New users receive a free welcome grant of Stars.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the app, go to the Stars or Profile screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If a purchase is still missing, email us the approximate date and we'll help.

How do I manage or cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and can be managed at any time:

Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. If you need help, contact us and we'll do our best to assist.

How do I delete my data?

Your chats, likes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data. To remove a character you shared publicly to our catalog, email [email protected] with the character name and we'll delete it.

How do I report content or a problem with a character?

Use the report option inside a chat or profile, or email [email protected]. We review every report and remove content that violates our Terms of Service.

A voice call or the microphone isn't working.

Live calls need microphone access. Go to Settings → Sona and make sure Microphone is enabled, then check that you have a stable internet connection. Restarting the app usually resolves temporary issues.

I watched an ad but didn't receive Stars.

Rewarded ads must finish playing to grant Stars, and a connection is required. If an ad completed but no Stars arrived, note the time and email us so we can look into it.

What is the minimum age to use the app?

Sona is intended for adults aged 18 and over and includes an in-app age confirmation.
