1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Famous Friends, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Famous Friends. In-app purchases require a valid Google Account. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian's permission to make purchases.

3. Description of Service

Famous Friends is an AI companion app where you can chat, message, and make live voice calls with AI-driven historical and custom figures, view their portraits, and create your own figures to keep or share. AI replies and voices are fictional and generated by language models and text-to-speech systems — they are entertainment, not the real opinions or statements of any historical person, and should not be interpreted as professional, historical, legal, medical, or financial advice.

4. In-App Purchases

• Unlocks: Some legendary figures and private photo galleries can be unlocked with coins earned through normal use or purchased through Google Play Billing.
• Virtual Currency & Items: Coins and any unlocked content are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no real-world value. Purchased items can only be used inside Famous Friends.
• Refunds: All purchases are processed through Google Play. Refund requests are handled by Google under their published refund policy.
• Pricing: Prices are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase and may change.

5. User-Generated Figures

You may create figures and choose to share them publicly. When you share, the figure's name, era, personality, and portrait become visible to other users. You agree that:

• You own or have the rights to any content you upload, including portraits.
• You will not impersonate or share private information about real, non-public living individuals without their consent.
• Shared content must not be hateful, sexual, illegal, deceptive, or infringing.
• We may review, hide, or remove shared figures that violate these Terms or applicable law.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Famous Friends for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code or assets
• Bypass paid features or in-app purchase requirements
• Abuse, harass, or attempt to extract harmful outputs from the AI
• Interfere with the operation of our chat, voice, catalog, or ad services

7. AI-Generated Content

AI replies and voices are fictional and may occasionally be inaccurate or out of character. Famous Friends does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or tone of any individual reply. Do not rely on AI replies for medical, legal, financial, or factual/historical decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All app content — including figure portraits, copy, voices, and the Famous Friends name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. Portraits of historical figures are AI-generated artistic interpretations, not photographic records.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Famous Friends at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Famous Friends is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Famous Friends.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after the "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Caitty is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
