Convenient but expensive
The markups for the food on this app are ridiculous. Not only do they charge all the extra fees, but they also increase the price of the food. They do a bad job at managing delivery drivers and their customer support is non existent.

Love but concerns
Iโve dashed for DoorDash myself and been a DoorDash customer for a few years with dash pass and I noticed some dasher will take a picture of the receipt instead of capture the whole order. My concern is us as customers cannot verify the state our food was actually in before it was in dashers possession and that is a loop whole to tamper and steal items from customers order . Please enforce dashers capturing the whole complete order not pictures of the recipe and possibly even input a method where the customers payment amount ($) is not visible on the recipe for dashers to see . I general believe dashers should not know how much our orders are. Thanks

DoorDash is awesome!! I use it all the time as I work on the road. I almost never have an issue and when I do you can get help directly in the app and they will take care of everything!! I have not even looked in to any other app because DoorDash is doing a great job for me!!
The drivers need to have more accountability though.. like taking forever after they have picked up the food and then eventually just canceling the order or the restaurant is closed now. I have also had many times where it looks like half of my French fries had been eaten.

Iโm grateful for apps like DoorDash. There are moments when I just donโt have the extra energy to cook or even leave the house to pick something up, and in those moments, itโs so nice knowing DoorDash is there. It makes life a little easier when I need it most. Thank you, DoorDash!
