I’m tired of posting things that make me happy and people going out of their way to ruin my day. Worst part? They will report your posts to Meta and meta sides with them. They clearly don’t care less about the well being of their users nor is having an opinion ok. It ruins the entire point of social networking.
Another toxic algorithm
Just another major social platform to get engagement at any means necessary. We really need heavier internet restrictions for the people who manage apps like these. Oh and also, once you make a profile they make it a pain to delete. They urge you to create a password before deletion and if you can’t access your email connected to it your just left with getting your feed filled with toxic garbage against your will.

Is Everything Fake on Threads??
If I could rate zero I would. What’s with threads?!! Seems like everyone is fake on here. All AI images and weird messages that look like they are for you but then hundreds of people are also responding. I get a notification via insta that someone sent a message on threads and then I go there and get the message: nothing to see here. Why bother with this? What a waste of time!! Even more so than other social media!!

Meta failed users again, like what they did to Facebook. 99% of the threads are created by AI bots, spreading fake news.

Comment edit time limit
My first comment. Published. Decided to edit. Could not figure out why last sentence was highlighted in pink. Kept writing. Tried to publish edited and only then say a negative number of characters allowed. Started editing in order to make it shorter. Suddenly an icon with “time limit edit comment” flashed and disappeared, and so my edited comment that was not published yet…I thought I had to restart the process. But only then I figured the option I have left was to delete but not edit. No warning icon??? No “you will loose your text if not click “publish now”. You can review or delete and re-comment later.

Threads? More like “Misanthropic Dolt Central” app.
This is literally one of the worst social media apps I’ve ever used. It’s nothing more than a breeding ground for conservative extremist wackos, bots, content farms, trolls, and cyberbullies, with little meaningful moderation of the toxicity that goes on.
I’ve seen trolls harass other users with vile bigoted insults, racist-adjacent rhetoric, and bad-faith provocation while exploiting plausible deniability and gaslighting to circumvent Meta’s moderation systems. Even after reporting harassment, Meta often seems unwilling or outright refuses to address it. Unless someone uses an explicit racial slur or directly encourages another person to off themselves, harassment and hateful behavior are apparently acceptable as long as users frame it as “politically divisive commentary” while Meta tells normal users to simply block or ignore it.
Absolutely unacceptable. The platform often feels like it rewards ragebait, outrage, and conflict, while leaving users to deal with much of the resulting harassment themselves.
If you’re looking for a social media platform that actually protects its users from harassment and toxic behavior, I’d look elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with this slop.
