Have used this free app as my main AI LLM for a good solid year now. Thought it was great to start with, but it is proving lately to be a liar & making up incorrect information/ answers just to give an answer, when clearly commanded to give truthful answers. Then being caught out, that it's wrong, then it lies again. Perplexity believes I'm under 12 years old so, obviously programmed to manipulate & lie to children which teaches children to do the same. Also won't let me update my age in account

Giving me information about Sutter county when I live in Sacramento county. Gave it the correct ZIP code yet it can't figure the correct county. Simple information that should be correct; makes me cautious about rendered answers to simple questions.
There isn't an option to turn personalization off so your previous chat is mixed up with your new chat. I also had a question about replacing batteries which it failed to answer but G_rok answered correctly.
