1. Information We Collect

We collect information only when it is needed to operate app features:

• Account data: We do not require an account, name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
• Chat and conversation data: Messages you type, recent conversation context, companion profile details, gift notes, and conversation summaries are stored locally on your device. When you use AI chat, the app sends the current message, recent context, summary, and selected companion profile to our backend so an AI reply can be generated.
• Voice data: When you start a live voice call, microphone audio and related transcripts are sent for real-time AI voice processing. When you request spoken replies, the text to be spoken and the selected voice are sent to generate audio.
• Custom companion data: If you create a custom companion and leave profile fields blank, the text fields you entered, such as name, age, style, occupation, personality, and description, may be sent to generate a completed profile. Photos selected for custom companions are stored on your device and are not sent to AI services.
• Reports: If you report content, the report reason, optional details, reported message content, companion ID, platform, and timestamp may be stored for up to 90 days for safety review.
• Purchase data: Apple processes purchases and subscriptions through StoreKit. The app stores subscription status and Star balances on your device.
• Advertising, usage, and diagnostics data: We may collect or receive device identifiers, ad interaction data, product interaction data, crash data, and performance data from Apple, Google AdMob, or related analytics and advertising tools where permitted by your settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our application
• Generate AI chat replies, live voice call replies, spoken audio, summaries, and profile suggestions
• Save your conversations, preferences, favorites, purchases, rewards, and companion data on your device
• Process your transactions and manage your subscriptions
• Provide rewarded ads and measure advertising performance where permitted
• Detect, investigate, and respond to abuse, safety reports, crashes, and service issues
• Send app notifications you enable, such as wake-up notifications

3. AI Data Sharing and Consent

Before the app sends personal data to AI services, it shows an in-app permission screen that explains what data is sent, who receives it, and how it is used. If you do not give permission, the app stays on that permission screen and AI features are not available.

AI requests are sent first to Caitty's backend at https://aigf2api.caitty.com. Depending on the feature and service availability, our backend may process AI requests with these third-party providers:

• Google Vertex AI / Gemini: chat, summaries, live voice calls, and related AI processing
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: spoken audio generation
• Qwen TTS: spoken audio generation fallback
• OpenRouter: fallback AI model routing for chat and summaries

We use these providers only to deliver requested app functionality. We select providers that maintain privacy and security protections intended to be the same as or stronger than the protections described in this policy for the data they process on our behalf.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your conversations, companion data, favorites, preferences, Star balances, and custom companion photos are stored locally on your device using iOS storage. AI requests are processed in real time. We do not use your chat content for advertising.

We implement technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and during service processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to limit data collection and retention to what is needed for app functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

Our app may use third-party services that may collect information about you:

• AI service providers: Google Vertex AI / Gemini, Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, Qwen TTS, and OpenRouter may process the AI request data described above.
• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data for personalized advertising. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple App Store: For in-app purchases and subscriptions, Apple processes your payment information according to their privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: Our backend may use Cloudflare infrastructure to route API requests and store user-submitted safety reports.

6. Tracking and Advertising

Our app uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. When you first use the app, you may be asked for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

If you allow tracking, we may collect and share:

• Device Identifier (IDFA): A unique identifier used to serve personalized advertisements and measure ad effectiveness.
• Advertising Data: Information about ads you have viewed or interacted with.

This data may be shared with advertising partners including Google AdMob for the purpose of delivering relevant ads and measuring their performance.

You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt-out of personalized advertising
• Request correction of inaccurate data

You can delete local conversations inside the app from Settings. You can also delete the app to remove data stored locally by the app from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
